Madelyn Price has been dancing nearly her whole life! Starting at 2 years-old with a princess ballet class, she was hooked. 8 years later, she is still dancing. She has been dancing competitively for the last 3 years with Sunshine Dance Project. Her favorite styles are Musical Theater, Lyrical, Jazz, and Hip Hop. Most recently she won 2nd place at the Talent on Parade competition for a group musical theater routine called, “Love at First Sight,” choreographed by Jared Titus and Stephanie Hansen. In her spare time, Madelyn also enjoys gymnastics and crafting (especially slime!). She looks forward to sharing her love of dance through Moxie.
Jilly is 10 and has been dancing since she was 2. For the last 3 years she has been a part of the Sunshine Dance Project Competition Team and has loved being able to explore all different dance styles. Jilly loves being on stage and entertaining the audience. She also loves being with her friends on the team! This past year she was cast as a Snowflake in the Joffrey Ballet's Nutcracker and really enjoyed performing with all of the professional ballet dancers. She looks forward to taking her dance talents out into the community to make a change!
Heidi is 10 years old and has been dancing since the age of 2. She loves all styles of dance, but
especially tap, jazz, musical theater and hip hop. She has been a member of the Sunshine
Dance Team for 3 years and performed in a tap trio last year that was awarded first place
overall at the Talent on Parade Regional Compeition. In addition to dance, Heidi loves to act
and has participated in several Bright Lights Theater Productions including Annie, Not Your
Mamma’s Fairytale, Little Mermaid and Frozen and The Lion King. She also enjoys singing and
was a soloist for School of Rock’s Rock Choir, Rising Stars and First Presbyterian Children’s choir.
She is excited to join Moxie Dance Project and looks forward to making new friends and using
her talents to a make an impact on the community.
Chloe Wanless started dancing when she was four years old and hasn’t stopped since. She is proud to be a part of both Moxie Dance Project and Sunshine Dance Project in Glen Ellyn, IL. Dance is her passion and she loves the excitement of local dance competitions. Chloe hopes to be a professional dancer in New York one day. She is thrilled to blend her compassion to help others and her love of dance through Moxie. Her motto is, “Leap through life, and never pass up a chance to DANCE.”
Olivia was born in 2007 and arrived into this world along with her twin brother (13) weeks early, weighing under (2) pounds! She started dancing at the age of (4) and later joined her older sister on the Competitive side of dance at Sunshine Dance Project. Olivia's favorite style of dance is Contemporary, Lyrical & Jazz. Olivia loves using dance to express herself. Off stage, she can be found dancing throughout her home, horseback riding, bike riding & spending time on the beach in Michigan. She's literally always on the move!
Breccan began dancing at age 3. She has been dancing competitively for 4 years on Sunshine Dance Company. Through sunshine Breccan has accomplished many goals, and has performed duets, trios and group numbers. Including a duet with her sister. She was awarded a half scholarship from Dupree. She received second place for her hip hop trio and third place for her contemporary duet. She loves to perform to express her passion for dance to others. Dance not only allows her to work on her own but she loves the team aspect of dance as well. She is excited for Moxie and the ideas and the opportunities it will provide her in learning and sharing the art of dance.
Maggie Gross, 10 years old, started dancing at the age of 4 years old. She has been a member of Sunshine Dance Project Competition Team for three years. Maggie's favorite dance styles are tap and musical theater. Outside of dance, Maggie plays piano and enjoys participating in her Girl Scout Troop. Maggie is thrilled to be a Moxie in training and using dance to support the community.
Born in Canada on May 19, 2005, Eliana started dancing at the age of three. She has danced in many different studios as a result of having moved three times. She has found dancing to be both a fun activity and a relief from hectic daily life. She started dancing at Sunshine at nine and is now eleven. Lyrical and jazz are her two favorite genres and she hopes to try others. In her free time Eliana likes to spend time with friends, play with her pets, play soccer, and read. She also likes food.
Julia is 10 years old. Her dance career began at age 3 at the Glen Ellyn Park District and she soon started taking classes at Sunshine Dance Project. Julialoves performing on stage and her favorite dance style is hip hop. She is excited to be part of Moxie and help others through dance.
